Sybu Data is an independent software vendor (ISV) located in Sunset Beach, Cape Town.

We specialize in the development and creation of mission critical custom software solutions with interfaces to communication and industrial automation devices.

One of our flagship solutions is the Grape Sorter, it's was awarded one of the top 3 most innovative products in South Africa in 2008 by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and SPII granted programs.

More on the name Sybu. This is a name that André Roodt, the director of Sybu Data created in 1999.  It is not an acronym and has no etymology. His vision is to create new innovative and bespoke solutions, this also extends to creating a word that did not existed before, hence the birth of the name Sybu.
It has the following meaning: Sybu- the connection between systems, devices, computers and people
